Safety
and Performance
Health and
safety is a priority. Rimor has developed its own computer
programmes, based upon finite element methods, to predict product
deflection
and stress levels under load.
Carefully calculated factors of safety allow for the effects of fatigue
loading and stress raising features. These ensure that the products are
correctly designed using the most suitable material.
This is of particular importance when considering the recommendations
concerning the maximum lifting weights for operators. Different
combinations of material and geometry are investigated to ensure that
the best solution is offered.
